BENEFIT OF SOHC TYPE ENGINE

SOHC means Single Over Head Cam or Single Cam.
The advantage of the OHC design is that valves are operated almost directly by the camshaft, which makes it easier to maintain precise timing at higher rpms. It's also possible to install three or four valves per cylinder.

R Series Gas Engine is an In-line, four-stroke, water-cooling high-speed engine with a direct-injection combustion chamber. This series is developed based on the diesel engine designed by Ricardo in Britain for China and jointly developed with Power HF Co., Ltd.. This engine has advantages of compact structure, sufficient power, reliable service, low operating cost, long service life, low noise and vibration and strong environmental adaptability. Its reliability and service life have reached the advanced level among like products worldwide.
R Series Gas Engine matches, optimizes and customizes the engine and the assembly according to the assembly configuration and the actual use; it has good supporting adaptability with multiple configurations available for flywheel, flywheel cover and generator.
